Games Galore and More – Policies and Guidelines

Last revised: October 20, 2025 by GGM Management

Welcome to Games Galore and More (GGM) — a community built on fun, friendship, learning, and respect.
Whether you’re here for the games, the laughs, or the friendships, we want your time here to be enjoyable and rewarding.

This page outlines the rules and expectations for all members when using GGM spaces, including TeamTalk, the website,
and email lists. These guidelines help ensure the community stays welcoming and accessible to everyone.

Quick note: If you’re ever unsure whether something fits these guidelines, choose the kinder, quieter option
and reach out to Management if you need help.

1. Respectful Conduct

We treat each other with courtesy. Harassment, bullying, insults, threats, or deliberately hurtful remarks are not tolerated.
Disagreements happen — disrespect doesn’t have to. If emotions run high, take a break and return when you can communicate calmly.

2. Keep the Space Friendly

GGM is a mixed-audience community. Please avoid content that is overly profane, sexual, hateful, or intended to shock or offend.
When in doubt, keep it clean and considerate.

3. Privacy and Personal Information

Never share someone else’s personal information without permission. This includes real names, physical addresses, phone numbers,
screenshots, emails, or private messages.

Respect the privacy of others just as you expect yours to be respected.

4. Voice and Text Etiquette

When using TeamTalk or chat spaces:

  • Mute your microphone when not speaking.
  • Avoid interrupting or talking over others.
  • Keep background noise to a minimum.
  • Stay on topic in active conversations.
  • Avoid flooding chat with rapid-fire messages.

5. Game and Event Participation

GGM events are meant to be enjoyable for everyone. While participating:

  • Follow the instructions of the host or facilitator.
  • Avoid arguing decisions during the game.
  • If you have concerns, bring them up privately after the event.
  • Practice good sportsmanship — win or lose.

6. Use of Recordings

Some games or activities may be recorded for entertainment or training. If a recording is planned, participants will be informed
beforehand. Do not record others without their knowledge and permission.

7. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination

Any discriminatory behavior, comments, or actions — including those related to race, gender, disability, religion, sexuality,
nationality, or age — will result in removal from the community. Everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome here.

8. Conflict Resolution

If issues arise between members:

  1. Attempt to resolve the issue calmly and directly, if possible.
  2. If resolution fails, contact GGM Management.
  3. Provide clear details about what happened.
  4. Avoid escalating tensions in public channels.

Management is here to help find solutions that support the well-being of the community.

9. Suspensions and Removal

Repeated violations, serious misconduct, or behavior that harms the community may result in warnings, temporary suspension,
or removal from GGM. These actions are never taken lightly, but protecting the community comes first.

10. Policy Updates

Policies may be updated periodically as the community grows. Notices will be posted when major changes occur.
Continued participation implies acceptance of the current guidelines.
