Welcome to the Mind of Charlie Richardson
Stories. Reflections. Rants. The Truth Unfiltered.
You’ve just stepped into a space where the filters are off, the past isn’t sugarcoated, and the future’s still wide open.
I’m Charlie. I went blind at twenty and kept building. I’ve chaired boards, shaped policy, stood behind vending machines and in front of government leaders. I’ve been praised, underestimated, and once told I’d always need someone to take care of me… They got that part wrong.
This site is part memoir, part movement, part monkey business.
Some of what you’ll find here is true.
Some is fiction with a pulse.
All of it comes from a life that’s been lived fully—even when the lights went out.
You’ll meet real people, imaginary knights, political nonsense, personal victories, and stories you’ve probably never heard told this way. Because I don’t just write for the sake of writing—I write to remind people that life doesn’t end when you lose something. Sometimes, that’s when it really begins.
The fiction will usually have a message. And when it’s the raw truth, you’ll know it is—because I’m the kind of guy that will fact-check a fortune cookie.
So pull up a chair, or a beanbag, or a flaming sword—whatever suits your style.
You’re in for something different.
Let’s begin.
